About me

In this role I developed updates for and extended the platforms of Databrydge created in Yii2 and Symfony. Additionally, optimizations were applied to existing features, such as decreasing the loading time of certain pages by a factor of 10. And I also reviewed the code of my colleagues.

This role also allowed me to gain some knowledge of the React framework, in which I extended the platforms functionality, stability and UX. Furthermore, I also extended my financial knowledge by working with several accounting platforms, and had several accounting-related substantive discussions.

Within this role I also had extensive contact with clients. This ranged from solving simple support-tickets to researching and implementing new connections to accounting platforms.

At Kings Code I developed new and extended existing platforms for the companies clients in Laravel and Vue to create middleware and full-stack applications. I also reviewed the work of others. Besides development related activities, I also engaged in client contact.

The research of this internship was all about optimizing development, maintenance and deployment of custom-built online stores. Besides that I’ve also implemented updates to Laravel-based websites.

In the role of PHP-Developer I implemented updates to existing platforms of several customers, which were based on the Zend-framework.

During my employment at Re: Software I made contributions to open-source projects, updated projects of clients written in C# and Laravel and reviewed code of colleagues. Furthermore I was in charge of several new projects also created in Laravel.

As an intern at Re: Software I was in charge of the architecture and development of an internal management system, written in Laravel and Vue.

During my employment at Go Online I created several PHP-scripts to automate tasks for the clients of Go Online.

During my internship at Webased I learned to work with the Yii2 and Bootstrap frameworks.
